WE ARE THE NAWCC
The NAWCC is a global community committed to preserving, encouraging, and stimulating interest in the art, heritage, and science of timekeeping.
The National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors is a wide-ranging organization with members in the USA and 50 other countries. Members participate in over 140 local and special interest chapters in North America, Asia, and Australia. The NAWCC operates the National Watch and Clock Museum, a world-reknowned Library and Research Center, and an extensive publishing program. We also sponsor an annual convention, a symposium, and our chapters host numerous regional events and local meetings.
There are many ways to participate in the NAWCC: attend events, access online resources, go to chapter meetings, visit and explore our world-class museum and internationally-renowned Library and Research Center, and take time to build friendships.
Chapters offer opportunities for learning and friendships and a venue to meet people eager to buy and sell collectible timepieces: Geographic Chapters bring together members from their areas for fun, friendship, and learning, including workshops and timepiece restoration and maintenance projects. Special Interest Chapters, such as the Tower Clock Chapter, often meet during Regional or National NAWCC meetings. They publish newsletters, communicate electronically, and share their mutual interest.
The NAWCC also sponsors many regional "mart" events: planned gatherings where our members come together to buy, sell, or trade horological items.
The National Watch and Clock Museum is a place where explorations into time are made everyday. If you would like to learn what you can do to help, contact us to select a role that matches your interests and abilities with our current needs.Sign Up Today!
